To capture and preserve community and culture through a Māori lens, ensuring stories are shared in a way that strengthens mana, reflects whakapapa, embraces whanaungatanga and upholds tikanga while displaying manaakitanga. I aim to display beauty and truth of every cultural living within our community and to ensure our stories aren't lost. My work ensures that the voices, faces and experiences are remembered, honoured and carried forward. I want our people to feel seen, heard and a sense of belonging in their identity.
